I had the pleasure of photographing Claire and Chris' big day at the very special Cragwood Country House Hotel. This was a rather rememberable day as it turned out to be the hottest on UK record.
Blessed with Mediterranean style sunshine Claire and Chris tied the knot in the hotel's landscaped gardens overlooking Lake Windermere. In true UK style the weather turned, bringing one of the biggest single downpours of the year. However, this didn't put a dampener on the Windermere boat cruise, the champagne flowed and the views came with rainbows and misty mountains. As the light faded the Lake District had one more gift to give... a magnificent sunset, the cherry on top of a truly unforgettable day!
