They say, turn your passion into a career and you'll never work a day in your life! Well, I've been a professional photographer for 15 years now and it's a ‘job’ I wouldn't change for anything else in the world.
My approach to wedding photography is really quite relaxed, going with the flow of the day and documenting everything as it naturally unfolds. This method really allows me to capture those candid moments that truly tell the story of a wedding.
I keep any posed photography and group shots brief and snappy so you can get right back to your family and friends. And don’t worry if you're a little camera shy, all you need to do is look in love, enjoy your day, and you might even forget I'm there!
Adventure
I’m an adventurous, live for the moment kind of guy that loves nothing more than searching for that next big adventure. I’ve swam with whale sharks in the Indian Ocean, snorkelled with sea turtles on the Great Barrier Reef, even lived in Tokyo as Sensei Lloyd.
I'm Newcastle based but born and raised in North Yorkshire, and as you can probably tell, I love to travel! I'd love to discuss photographing your wedding whether it's home or away! Get in touch and tell me about your wedding plans.
FAQ
How do we secure our wedding date?
Your date is secured upon payment of a deposit (£250) and signing of a contract. Signatures and payments can all be done online from your mobile phone, computer or laptop.
What’s the best way to get in touch?
Head over to my contact page to fill out a contact form and I'll get right back to you.
When will our gallery be ready to view?
I endeavour to have your photographs styled, edited and gallery ready within 2-4 weeks.
Will our images be watermarked with your logo/name?
No. I don’t include my name or logo on any of your images.
How many photographs will you take?
I usually delivery around 500+ images depending on the size of your wedding. Your day is unique, and so will be your gallery.
Can you photoshop all my photos?
Each photo will be hand-edited, masterfully retouched and refined with my unique filmic look ensuring they are print and instagram ready. I don't photoshop or manipulate any people in photos. I can however remove small blemishes like spots or injuries on request.
Do you only photograph local weddings?
Even though the majority of the weddings I photograph are in the North East, I do offer coverage of any wedding, anywhere in the world. Contact me if you're planning a wedding abroad.
Do you charge for travel?
If your wedding venue is in the North East of England travel is included in your package. For venues outside of the area please get in touch for your personalised quote.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. You get full download and print licence with all wedding and engagement shoots.
When will I need to pay the remainder of my invoice?
I request the remaining amount of your invoice to be paid 30 days before your wedding date.
Do you take family & group photographs?
Yes, I do! While my style is mostly documentary, capturing natural and candid moments, I’ll also take the time to create beautiful family and group photos. These are carefully planned to ensure you have a lovely mix of portraits alongside the real, spontaneous moments of your day.
Do you bring back-up equipment?
Yes. I bring along backups of my cameras, lenses, lights and all other gear needed.
Are you insured?
Yes. I have specialist photography insurance for full peace of mind at my end and yours.
